What is the difference between nets and voiles

Voiles have a much higher thread count, are tightly woven and come in a variety of colours. Voile curtains can also be embellished so they are much more varied in appearance. Despite their differences in appearance, both types of curtain perform a similar function.

As a rule, Voile curtains have a significantly higher thread count per inch of fabric than a net.
